Abstract: Functional dyspepsia is a gastrointestinal disorder characterized by epigastric pain or burning sensation, early satiety, and fullness after meals. This study analyzes the relationship between nutritional status and dyspepsia symptoms in 260 outpatients at Atma Jaya Hospital in 2024. Most subjects were female, with an average age of 48.3 years. The most common dyspepsia symptoms reported are epigastric pain, nausea/vomiting, and early satiety. Based on the Body Mass Index (BMI), most patients have normal nutritional status. The analysis results showed no significant relationship between nutritional status and dyspepsia complaints (p > 0.05). However, a significant relationship was found in the study between age groups and the symptoms of nausea/vomiting and early satiety (p < 0.05). In conclusion, nutritional status does not significantly impact dyspepsia, while age affects several symptoms.
