Abstract: The most common injury from high school sports is a concussion. Many previous studies addressed the importance and prevention of concussions. However, many studies haven’t addressed how schools, parents, and athletes get involved in concussion lawsuits from academic accommodation, healthcare providers, and concussion education. Therefore, this study aims to discuss legal issues of concussion law to decrease litigation and brain injuries in high school athletics. This study can provide government officials, student-athletes, educators, parents, and athletic personnel with useful information on concussion law.
